Abstract :
The single-switch integrated converters (SSICs), which include two controllable branches but only one switch, are the effective way to reduce size and cost of the system, and thus, especially suitable for low power applications. The aim of this paper is to propose a general derivation law for the SSICs. With the proposed derivation law, not only the existing SSICs can be included into the general frame, but also the new SSICs and their suitable application fields can be easily deduced. The derivation method, integration results and application fields of the SSICs are presented in this paper. Finally, a new SSIC, which can be used as an interface for the photovoltaic, battery and load, is given to show the validity of the analysis.
