Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce a modified Temporal Difference method which takes account into the moves of other players in populations for 1-ply Othello. That is, by using Temporal Learning method, we introduce Memetic Algorithm, i.e., hybridization of EA with local search method. The proposed modified TD-method can maintain the diversity in populations. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
