Abstract :
The nomenclature, generic features, and a protocol for developing an appropriate mathematical model, for a broad class of optimal energy-harvesting problems are presented. A Canonical Mathematical Model is developed for posing a broad class of optimal energy-harvesting problems, and is shown to lead-to an unusual-form of the classical Linear Quadratic Optimal Control Problem.
