Abstract :
The paper describes an implementation architecture for a telecommunications management network (TMN) applicable to the management of the proposed integrated broadband communications network. The paper is based on the results of the collective work of many individuals who were participating in the RACE GUIDELINE project. An elaboration of the internal structure of an operations system is also given. A proposal for the TMN platform is described in some detail. The architecture described is intended to support the future implementation of TMN systems within Europe and elsewhere
