Abstract :
The design and experiment of a Ka-band Second-harmonic gyroklystron amplifier is presented. Three cavity 35 GHz second harmonic gyroklystron operate in the TE021 cylindrical mode. Initial experiments show a peak output power of 154 kW with a 3-dB bandwidth of 110 MHz (0.3%) .
