Abstract
Summary form only given. The theoretical and experimental investigations of frequency characteristics of continuous K-range magnetron are considered. A new physical result connected with decrease (more than on the two orders) of frequency deviation of the continuous K - range magnetron for different conditions of operation of thermionic cathode is obtained. The analysis of theoretical results shows that the reason of frequency stabilization in the magnetron connected with decreasing fluctuations of overall emission current (thermionic and secondary emission). The obtained experimental results confirm by results of theoretical investigation of emissive processes in the magnetron. It is shows that the supplementary heating of surface of the thermionic cathode leads to changing the frequency characteristics of the magnetron (in particular, the frequency deviation). The possibility for improving the frequency properties in the cold-cathode magnetrons is shown.
