Abstract :
This paper addresses unresolved issues with the representation of fields and particles on a discrete mesh in cylindrical coordinates. A systematic approach based on recent results on particle weighting and field solution in axisymmetric coordinates holds promise for a consistent solution to these unresolved issues.
