Abstract :
This paper proposes NF (Narrative Forest) which is an application system of our integrated narrative generation system. NF consists of narrative generation part and user interface part. The former automatically generates narrative conceptual representation as a tree structure form. And the latter is a kind of narrative user interface, and displays the glowing process of a narrative tree structure and the collection of trees by the correspondence of the visual image of a tree and forest. The user can see narrative generation process through the metaphorical image. At the same time, the user can operates the narrative generating processing via the interface window. We conducted a questionnaire survey and a demonstration at an exhibition. Based on the results, we discuss a variety of findings and future issues on the interestingness of the interface, the quality of narrative texts, and so on.
