Abstract :
We approach the analysis of thermopower from a semiclassical viewpoint, letting the quantum mechanical aspects enter through model specific parameters. In the analysis we explicitly take into account the dimensionality of the material system to ascertain its effect on thermoelectric cooling predictions.
