Abstract
As the RF structure to accomplish mode conversion in the system of pulse compression, the helically corrugated waveguides can operate in the frequency of millimeter wave with high gain and high efficiency. In the design of a high-power, broadband millimeter wave pulse compressor, the mode convert system is an important part. A compressor based on helically rippled waveguide is also described.
