Abstract
In the telecommunications industry, AIN is a prominent service architecture creating network-based information services; B-ISDN and multi-media representation are the dominant technologies shaping future networks. The architecture and technologies are driving future packet-oriented network-based information services which need some new design considerations for secure RPC. Secure RPC impacts the success of future B-ISDN-based AIN. However, research results on this topic are very rare. In the paper, new design considerations of secure RPC for future B-ISDN-based AIN are discussed
