Abstract :
For the users´ traversal pattern and motivation are hiding in the Web traversal session sequence, how to find the maximal frequent traversal sequence is one of the important tasks in Web usage mining. By analyzing the users´ behavior and the response of the Web sites, this paper provides an idea to utilize the duration time of the Web pages to mine Web Log. In this way, a method for building the Duration Time Frequent Traversal Sequence Tree is put forward and a novel algorithm, the Duration Time Maximal Frequent Traversal Sequence Mining, is presented either. Experiments reveal not only the DTMFTSM algorithm reduces the execution time and the I/O cost significantly, but also faster than the well-known algorithms under the time constraint.
