Abstract
This paper introduces the principle, constituent, signal format, electrical performance and techniques of the radio determination and communication experimental system (RDCES) using two satellites, and gives the experiment results of RDCES developed in China. The experimental results obtained from RDCES show that positioning, communication and timing synchronisation can be implemented in the same satellite channel
