Abstract :
Fuzzy singular value decomposition based clutter reduction technique is proposed for through wall imaging which is capable of discriminating between target and clutter signals. Clutters are often mixed with target signals that can be more accurately separated by fuzzy boundaries. Proposed scheme significantly works well especially for multiple targets having different range profiles. Figure of merits for comparison of algorithms include mean square error, peak signal to noise ratio and visual inspection.
