Abstract :
This paper aims to present the design of a computer code (HPFCODE) of the power flow and losses in power systems under the influence of harmonics, using the GUI in MATLAB. After describing the program was run for two networks IEEE 6 nodes and IEEE 14 nodes. The power flow by Newton-Raphson method was calculated as the loss of active and reactive power in the lines, respectively, where the loads are linear and nonlinear (Static Var Compensator (SVC), Thyristor controlled Reactor (TCR), and Unified Power Flow Control (UPFC)).
