Abstract :
STCW78/95 convention proposes new requirements for operation training of special purpose ship, so it becomes vital and necessary to realize semi-submersible heavy lift vessel handling simulator. The visualization of semi-submersible heavy lift ship handling simulator can be realized under the Visual C++ and OSG visualization development environment. The core technologies are described in details such as multi-viewport display, camera control, collision diction and response. And the simulation results are satisfactory by test.
