The goal of 3G long term evolution is to apply the technology application of 4G to 3G and its extended frequency range, on the one hand, it is helpful to provide greater data speed, volume and the more coverage area; on the other hand, it can also reduce the delay of business processes, the operational cost of the system as well as maintain the stable evolution of 4G in the future. This paper will introduce the critical technologies of LTE system, and combine the mixture process of TD-LTE frame structure, which indicates the advantages of TDD-LTE as the evolution direction of TD-SCDMA in the future.
