Abstract :
In approximately synchronized (AS) code-division multiple-access (CDMA) communication systems, sequences with zero correlation zone (ZCZ) are employed so that multiple-access interference (MAI) and multi-path Interference (MPI) are removed simultaneously. In this paper, a family of mutually orthogonal (MO) ZCZ polyphase sequence (PS) sets is presented. In the proposed MO ZCZ PS sets, the sequences in each set are with a ZCZ and for all time shifts, their cross correlation function vanishes. On the other hand, the sequences in two different sets are orthogonal.
