Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. Fluidised bed technology is an important tool in large scale mineral processing as well as in coal roasting technology. In recent years, increased interest developed for application of this technology in advanced materials processing, namely for coating and activation of ceramic, metallic as well as polymer powders and fibres, mainly because of the excellent dispersion and mixing of the, material and the efficient heat and mass exchange, which promote uniform coating.
