Abstract :
The author presents a smoothing algorithm for engineering drawing. The algorithm includes cleaning isolated pixels, smoothing "short line": removing hair noise and filling voids and small breaks in the line structures. Parallelism is introduced to speed up the processing of the algorithm. Experimental results confirm our new approach.
