Active web database technology and its applications in CRM

Active mechanism is an important feature of real-time database management system (DBMS). On the basis of the active mechanism, real-time DBMS can take some measures according to environmental change of the database, so can execute predetermined actions and not just passively to the implementation of the user´s command. This paper proposes the conception of active web database on the basis of the traditional active databases, discusses the architecture about active web database, realization ways and its applications in customer relationship management.
