  • Abstract
Circuit breaker monitoring can be accomplished in many ways. Electric utilities should give careful consideration to various aspects when developing an overall strategy for circuit breaker monitoring. Consideration should be given to the objectives to be accomplished, the different monitoring equipment available, information available to determine what to monitor, and expectations of benefits as a result of circuit breaker monitoring. This paper attempts to briefly discuss these various aspects
