Abstract :
A new method has been developed for the simultaneous measurement of the complex impulse responses in two diversity branches using only one channel sounder. The two diversity antennas are installed at the transmitter site. The carrier frequencies of the transmitted pseudo-noise signals in the two branches are slightly shifted by ±fd0 relative to the center frequency of the receiver. The two diversity branches can be separated by signal post processing of the received signal in the delay-Doppler frequency domain. Examples of measured impulse responses and statistical parameters in the two diversity branches are given
