Abstract
In this paper, an application of FACTS devices to dispersed generation systems is proposed. In the proposed systems, the fault current limiter (FCL) is applied to disconnect the critical loads and the dispersed generator from the utility power systems by detecting the voltage magnitude when the power system´s fault occurs. An influence of the voltage sag magnitude, duration and other parameters is investigated by simulations
