Abstract :
An expert system development model is outlined that offers an approach to expert system project management and development similar to traditional software project management and development. The goal was to offer a bridge for expert system development from a research philosophy to a way of doing business. The model offers users, developers, and managers a guide to developing and managing expert system projects. The purpose, scope, and benefits of the model are discussed
