Abstract :
To meet the great demand for running softwares efficiently on high performance computers (HPC), we always need to parallelize many existing sequential programs and apply them to HPC. Parallelizing sequential programs is very time-consuming and is indeed a hard work, especially for a huge program. In this article, we intend to discuss our experience of utilizing some parallelization tools to parallelize a huge sequential program and describe a runtime check tool (Check Tool) for helping programmers check the correctness of the parallelized program without using traditional debuggers.
