Abstract
Rapid service delivery is a key element for the operating companies to survive competition among network providers and to meet increased demand for customized services. AIN technology enables rapid service delivery. The rapid changes introduced by AIN are impacting the various components of the operations and telecommunications networks. They are distributed in nature, requiring the operating companies to streamline their network management operations, and to evolve their present OAM architecture. The paper provides the framework of operations activities that support AIN, and proposes a process to accommodate rapid evolution
