  • Abstract
    A two-level multi-carrier (TLMC) UWB scheme is proposed, with its spectrum utilization scheme and implementation scheme. TLMC utilizes UWB spectrum at two levels, the upper one is filter bank synthesis and the lower one is OFDM. A complexity reduction scheme is also given, which shows that TLMC has reasonable complexity. TLMC achieves the fully digitalized design requirement, and has high flexibility and compatibility.
