Abstract
In this paper a robust controller design method for interval plants to guarantee both the robust stability and performance is presented. This method is based on the design of robust stabilizing controller for a plant with bounded uncertainty on coefficients. Subsequently, a pre-filter is constructed to ensure the desired system performance. The simulation results of a flexible transmission system, as a benchmark problem of robust control, illustrates the efficiency of the proposed method for interval plants.
