Abstract :
The multi-sensor information fusion theory has been widely used in the fault diagnosis domain. In order to improve the reliability of fault diagnosis of the variable frequency speed regulation system (VFSRS), this paper presents a new fault diagnosis method of the VFSRS based on the multi-sensor information fusion. A calculating method of the basic probability assignment (BPA) for the VFSRS was given. Taking the invisible electric fault of the VFSRS as an example, this paper presents the implementing process of this fault diagnosis method in detail. The diagnosis result indicates that the multi-sensor information fusion has the stability and the ability of fault tolerance, and can improve the accuracy and reliability of fault diagnosis of the VFSRS effectively.
