Abstract
The calculation of spatial neighbor relation is the important method for spatial analysis, but existing softwares don´t provide this function. This paper first Introduces the definition of spatial neighbor based on Delaunay triangle network, and then proposes the algorithm of calculating spatial neighbor relation based on ArcObject´s topological operators (Touches and Disjoint). The necessary and sufficient condition of spatial neighbor relation within disjunct objects is that existing Delaunay triangle or edge linking objects. Experiment bas been done and proves the method is feasible. Further more, the algorithm has been used to find relative location of adjoining parcel, in cadastral map.
