Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. Summary form only given. High-power CW magnetrons as microwave sources have been employed for applications in industrial processes of food, rubber, textiles, wood products, ceramics, waste, and so forth Many novel microwave applications have been reported and new areas are continually explored In the present study. a high-power CW magnetron with and without conductive straps has been modeled using a three-dimensional electromagnetic simulation code. The characteristics of the magnetron such as resonant frequencies, resonant modes and higher harmonics are presented.
