Abstract :
The states of a continuous system are approximated by discrete variables. The behavior of the system is then modeled by a finite state automaton. An order relationship over the set of states allows: 1) to define another order relation between the states of a composed automaton; 2) to reduce the number of transitions of the composed automaton; and 3) to write a simple reachability algorithm for finding a goal state
