Abstract
In the 3R signal, the use of a clock-modulated pump reduced timing jitter by up to 5.8 ps and reduced inter-symbol interference. Receiver sensitivity improvements of up to 5.0 dB and 10.9 dB were also obtained for signals degraded by ASE noise and dispersion, respectively
