Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. The realisation of plasma-wave systems of required parameters will make it possible to develop air-jet engines and chemical lasers with improved technical-economical characteristics considerably exceeding their analogs. A main idea in the engineering design of these devices consists in separation of detonation products and the air due to the detonation of the jets of the drop-liquid fuel torch jet in the process of development in the air environment in the partially restricted volume. Thus are created are the conditions for directed shock-wave flow of detonation products with subsequent development of unloading in the restricted volume and respective filling of this volume with fresh air. First we plan to develop on this basis a gas-dynamic DC pulse detonation-combustion laser. Pumping of an active medium in it is performed in the process of detonation combustion of the fuel-air mixture. Inversion of populations in the active medium takes place under conditions of shock-wave flow of detonation products. The expected laser parameters are presented.
