Abstract :
Heating problem is one of the most important safety issue of luminaire. With more and more decoration purpose, more and more luminaire models are derived and the heating tests of luminaire become time-consuming. Under such situation, a thermal-imaging based automatic luminaire heating test system is under development to improve efficiency. The system is designed to present the testing result and verdict report to the end users according to luminaire safety standard. With case study method, this paper presents three type of residual safety problems even the luminaire testing results are in compliance with the luminaire safety standard. Such problems implies further research in verdict system is necessary before such system can be commissioned.
