Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. A plasma display panel (PDP) is one of the most promising technologies for a large size flat panel display. There have been no probe measurements of specific plasma parameters such as electron temperatures, gas temperature and electron density due to small scalability and several hundreds of pressures in PDP. In this work, we describes a parametric study including the excitation temperature, rotational temperature, and electron density in a PDP driven by pulsed excitation of 30-100 kHz and operated in the pressure range from 300 to 500 Torr by optical emission spectroscopy.
