Abstract :
Because many factors affect the azimuth resolution of bistatic SAR, it is a complex problem to design a proper bistatic configuration to achieve good resolution. This poster analyzes each key parameter that affects the azimuth resolution by keeping the others constant in the spatial invariant case. Then, simulation results are presented to validate the theoretical analysis. Finally, a method for bistatic geometry designing is proposed and several examples are presented.
