Abstract :
The paper presents an alternative method to the open-loop scalar control of induction machines. The control principle adopts some concepts from vector control. The method includes the compensation of stator resistance voltage-drop in the low speed region. The influence of stator resistor change is also analyzed with SIMULINK This method can be treated as a compromise between extra hardware and better dynamic response
