  • Abstract
    Generally, research objects of chemical industry operation optimization are multi-factorial, highly noisy, nonlinear, non-Gaussian distributed, non-evenly distributed datasets which contain useful information for improving industrial processes. Optimization based on pattern recognition is a good tool of information mining. The paper gives the operation parameters of the acrylonitrile (AN) apparatus by applying an optimal method based on pattern recognition. The method can be applied to other industrial processes as well.
