Abstract :
In the paper, the ant system (AS) optimization algorithm in continuous space is used for examples of optimum value searching of continuous function. In the paper, the general evaluation parameters are defined. It considers the general optimization dynamics of the whole ant system. Two evaluation functions are defined. The paper discusses the performance evaluation of the defined AS algorithm in continuous space.
