Abstract

This paper presents a new software package for simulation of motor drive systems-EESimulator3.0. Its algorithm, which integrates circuit-oriented with function-oriented simulation, possesses the advantage of both and makes it possible to simulate large power electronic drive systems efficiently and precisely. Its interface is designed and realized like the popular software "Visio". Input and output are both implemented easily and visually in a graphic interface. A three-level inverter drive system has been studied using this software, and the simulation results have verified its validity
