Abstract
The author describes the integration of laboratory and classroom experiences for a sophomore level signals and systems course. She gives details of the Virtual Laboratory designed to provide a laboratory experience that is unified across all ECE courses and builds upon itself during the student´s undergraduate education, and to enable the student to create virtually the same laboratory environment about any PC that has access to the campus network. The success of this course and changes that were implemented are discussed. The most successful laboratories and in-class demos are outlined, and write-ups are provided.<>
