Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. The experiment was done in a pilot-scale system of 20 t/h for the treatment of ship´s ballast water. High-concentration hydroxyl radical is produced in Hydroxyl generator, and then is injected into dissolved unit to form high dissolved hydroxyl radical. When the ratio hydroxyl concentration is 0.65mg/L, the germs, monoplast algae and zooplanktons are not found in the water sample of 150 mL. The introduced microorganisms can be killed within 4.1 s also along the main pipe of the ballast water.
