Abstract
The method and procedure for designning a multi-pole single-phase switched reluctance generator (SPSRG) are presented in this paper. The new technique is based on the quasilinearity model and overcomes the blindness of the analogy method, which is commonly used in the design of SRM. A computer aided design and simulation program is developed to validate the presented method. The design scheme and simulation waveforms for a prototype are given. The result has proved that the presented method can satisfy the application of the engineering design
