In order to improve the quality of low-carbon road design, this paper analyzes an impact of carbon emissions at road design period, highway construction period and operation period, and proposes corresponding emission reduction measures. Besides, it develops the search function of WEIDI software as a medium, then design time is saved effectively, and the accuracy of low-carbon design is improved greatly. In this paper, a low-carbon road database at home and abroad, can enrich the design material and expand the design concept; Building dynamic driving low-carbon evaluation model, it plays a better guide of highway design low-carbon, simple and practical. In this paper, it is achieved that three-dimensional model checking the road design, and ensure the rationality of the design. So it´s important to promote development of low-carbon highway design.
