Abstract :
In this paper, a nonlinear dynamic model of a switched reluctance motor (SRM) is presented and a concise model of the phase inductance versus current and rotor position relationship of an SRM is proposed. The simulation circuits for the SRM, inverter and control system are also presented. The simulation results are discussed. The simulated and the measured magnetic characteristics match well with each other
