Abstract :
The approach described in this paper is a hybrid method based on the ideas of the advanced front algorithm and the Delaunay triangulation algorithm. First, according to the boundary representation of the domain, the advanced front algorithm is used only to generate initial tetrahedral elements which can describe the geometry of a model and create basic nodes and elements. Then the Delaunay algorithm and the mesh refinement scheme are used to insert new points in the initial elements. Finally, an example is given to show the validity of the hybrid method
