Abstract :
Semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs) have been arranged with the aim of obtaining polarisation-free wavelength conversion, using four-wave mixing (FWM). Results show a polarisation dependence of < 0.5 dB in the new conjugate with added feedback.
