Abstract
Tracking the position and orientation of learner´s head, the cockpit intelligent tutoring system (CITS) based on augmented reality perceives the learner´s interest, and then displays corresponding teaching information on the head mounted display (HMD). The system modeling involves the depiction of main framework and the mathematical solutions of subsystems. Cockpit components can be abstractly regarded as spatial planes, this paper presents two methods to establish planar equation in cockpit coordinate system and tracker coordinate system. To estimate the transition matrices, the method of least squares is introduced.
